Welcome

Welcome to The Movie Buzzard Motion Picture and Video Blog.
When it gets its act together, this blog will be about movies. Mostly it'll be movie reviews. Mostly the reviews will be short. It'll be the kind of place where you can kick back with a beer or a cup of coffee and hang out for a while. Or just stop by for a moment or two on your way out to go catch a film. Or something like that. We'll see how it goes.
The movies are rated on a scale from zero to five. The ratings are arbitrary, and there aren't any exact verbal equivalents for the numbers. The unit of measurement is a cent sign (¢). It's an economical blog.
Whoever you are and however you got here, you probably shouldn't take anything you read on this blog too seriously. These are movie reviews. That's all. As William Goldman once put it, "Movies are about suckering people into the theater for two hours and hoping they enjoy themselves." And to quote Sam Peckinpah, "Screw the critics." That sort of captures the spirit of the thing.

   Nick Hinauslehnen

Nick Hinauslehnen is a pen name. There is no Nick Hinauslehnen, but there used to be. The real Nick Hinauslehnen was decapitated when he leaned too far out the window of a moving train somewhere between Munich and Paris in October 1973. It's uncertain at this point what his favorite movies might've been. But it's safe to say he's not watching them anymore.
